Hi there, we are planning on attending a Cubs game in the afternoon, and I noticed that the Blue Man Group is playing later at Briar Street Theatre is only a 15 minute walk. I have heard that, the area of town can be scary. We would have to kill two hours between the two events. I thought supper, maybe? But, is it a safe place to be?

The neighborhood is safe to walk. Lots of places to eat. I did something similar to your plan and ate at Figo wine bar. I enjoyed it.
