This is a huge place to visit if you do want to see Mao. This is heavly guided and be aware of the long ques, the history is worth seeing, and always have your passport with you. The security will…Full review by 314jayneb

is tiananmen square is it free or it ask to pay a ticket?
A:
Yes it is free. You just need to have your passport on you as there are at least 3 security checkpoints. The Forbidden City though requires a ticket to be brought in advance online.
