I went there in fall. The weather was very mild. Winter will be a good time to visit. I suppose the cold will not be severe. There is expected to be some snow in December, but more so in January and February. One could possibly take warm thermal undergarments, a pullover and a light jacket (per person, of course). Hi, I am planning to cover Yanardag, Gobustan Mud Volcano and Fire temple in one day. Can someone tell me what is the easiest mode of public transport available. Bus station or metro or mini buses.

Hi, definitely is better to travel there by private car with driver. No public transport to Mud vulcano neither to Gobustan pictograms. You can easily visit the three of them in one day.
