We are planning a week long trip from CA to MA. My 4 year old is obsessed with trains and dinosaurs and I thought this would be really fun for him. Does the Edaville Family Theme park re-open on April 4th, 2020? Is it a good time to go? Which is the closest airport we can choose? Recommendations for hotels/Airbnb close to the theme park? What other attractions would be suitable for my 4 year old? What can be done in Boston with my son? How far would Maine be? Is it possible to go to Nigara falls in a week?

Lot of questions. Check the park website for schedule. Call the park office. I have found them helpful. 2 airports nearby. Providence is smaller and easier to navigate. Boston Logan is major and larger and mir difficult. But may have better schedules. The New England Aquarium in Boston. Science Museum there too I think. Edaville is about an hour from Boston or Providence. Early April may be chilly. This park is never really crowded like Disney. Much smaller. The train ride is nice through cranberry country. About 20 min. Southern Maine is about another hour once you get north of Boston. Niagara is about 8-10 hours by car.

Not really, because I have a sumer hoe nearby...but there are lots of places to stay in the area..when traveling I often use Air B&B among other web room/apartment sites..all over the world....remember, Edaville is not Disney or Universal..can be easily done in a day.. but Plimoth Plantaion and other sites nearby, you can easily book a week of fun and education...my 5 year old grandson wanted two days at the Plantation!
