Narrow road, but the one-way uphill traffic from 10:00 to 19:00 (summer only) makes the drive so much easier. Not so many places to stop - so take an opportunity when you see one. Truly spectacular …Full review by MigratoryMidlands

It would be physically possible, yes, but very dangerous. There is a hiking trail, nearby, I believe. I saw hikers at the top and a brochure for companies that do walking trips to the top.
