Sassi dwellings go back to prehistoric times, some 7000 years ago, since the Neolithic Age. These caves are no longer inhabited.Full review by MargieD300

You might not want to do the Sassi. It is a long walk with no place to sit down. There is a lot of up and down hills. You might be able to hire a tut-tut to take you through the Sassi. If …

You might not want to do the Sassi. It is a long walk with no place to sit down. There is a lot of up and down hills. You might be able to hire a tut-tut to take you through the Sassi. If you do that, be sure to stop in to visit the small museum. Ask about the tut-tut at your hotel. Enjoy!
