Along with a few others this is one of the most spectacular ancient temples in Egypt. In particular, the Avenue of the Sphinxes is most impressive. Actually, it extends all the way to Luxor Temple.Full review by Robert S
Can someone give advice when Egypt museums, tombs, temples, are open and closed? Are things generally open on Saturday, Sunday? I don't want to schedule my trip to Lux over the weekend if there is a day I can't seen anything...thanks!

They are open everyday. The hours vary for in season. We never purchased anything in advance but we went in January.
What clothes are appropriate to wear at the temple

You can pretty much wear what you wish. Some people wore knee length shorts. I try to respect the culture and dress accordingly. I wore linen pants and Short sleeved blouse.
