Artwork is great, the rest is poor. If you want an ipad/audio guide, then you have to leave your ID card behind as 'security'. Ridiculous.. If they lose it, you cant get back home. Other things were … Full review by klaas jan r

This museum is so impressive, it is the summum of the Rome experience. You will be moved, impressed, blown away by the history and the craftmanship of the romans. When in Rome, you HAVE to visit this… Full review by Katrine M

This was a great museum. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the rooms and exhibits. One can take photos inside. We purchased our tickets in advance directly from the museum website. Full review by elisabethrotsch

No, Turkey residents will have to pay. It's a nice place though and worth the admission.

Without knowing your child that would be hard for anyone to say. If they like history or art they probably would enjoy it, in particular if you try to make it more engaging for them by adding some stories or information they would be able to relate to/interested in. I took a 3 and 5 year old and it was a more pleasant experience than going to the Vatican museums with them if that helps. There are lots of cool things and we had a good time; that said we go to lots of museums (a couple a month).
