There is a parking lot by the visitor's center. We were there in February and were able to walk across the street from the parking lot to the Old North Bridge.

We did not walk the trails, but only went from the Parking area to the Visitor center, stayed there a bit and then back to the Parking area. As you are in the parking area heading to the Visitor Center, you cross over a small boardwalk bridge, then onto a path to the visitor center. I cannot remember if the path was finely packed dirt, or some other material, but it was not difficult to walk on.
Google maps says it's 1.4 miles or 28 minutes by foot, or 4 minutes by car. Either way, it's a pleasant journey along residential streets and through Concord Center.
